On Tuesday, 9 September 2025, professor Dr Boris Stojkovski, Director, and Dr Milan Gromovic, Deputy Director of the Institute, visited the School Administration in Sombor.
In the discussion with Milana Minarski, Head of the School Administration Sombor, an agreement was reached to intensify future cooperation in implementing educational achievement standards in primary education, especially regarding continuous professional development of teachers, and the administration of the final exam at the end of primary education.
The discussion also concentrated on improving the quality of preparatory classes for eighth-grade students to enhance results on the final exam (“mala matura”). A training plan for educational advisers was agreed upon, along with establishing direct communication with the Institute concerning the integration of new educational achievement standards into the regular education system.
