In the Grand Hall of the Palace of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, on 15 May 2026, the Mathematical Institute of SANU (Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts) marked the 80th anniversary of its establishment. The ceremony was attended by numerous representatives of cultural, academic and public life. The Institute for Education Quality and Evaluation was represented at the event by the Acting Director, Prof. Dr Boris Stojkovski. The Institute cooperates with the mathematical community, including the Mathematica Institute, in the development of programmes for mathematical and scientific literacy, and the event provided an opportunity to reaffirm the intention to expand and strengthen cooperation between ZVKOV and the Mathematical Institute of SANU.
