On 16 March 2026, a delegation from the Institute for Education Quality and Evaluation conducted a working visit to the Municipality of Kula, during which representatives of the Institute visited Petőfi Brigade Primary School in Kula and 20 October Primary School in Sivac.
The delegation included Acting Director Prof. Dr Boris Stojkovski, Deputy Director Assoc. Prof. Dr Milan Gromovic, a research associate, and Martina Bosnjak, Associate in the Director’s Office.
During the visit to Petőfi Brigade Primary School, discussions with Headteacher Gabriela Simonji focused on the upcoming mock final exam and the organisation of the final exam (matura), which is conducted at the school in both Serbian and Hungarian. Opportunities to strengthen cooperation were also explored, including potential international and cross-border projects with partners in Hungary in the field of education.
At 20 October Primary School in Sivac, discussions with Headteacher Milana Bjelivuk Kovac also centred on preparations for the mock final exam, scheduled for 27-28 March, as well as the organisation of the final exam in June. The importance of preparatory classes was highlighted, alongside the need to further enhance cooperation between the Institute and schools.
The meetings also included the presentation of concrete proposals for joint projects, including cooperation with other educational institutions in Serbia and Republika Srpska.
The Institute will continue to strengthen and expand its cooperation with schools and relevant institutions in the Municipality of Kula, to enhance the quality of education and raise the profile of this region.
