Cooperation between the Institute and educational institutions is aimed at improving the quality of the teaching process and strengthening systemic support for students at key stages of their education. Particular emphasis was placed on the transition of Year 8 students to secondary education, recognising the final examination as an important milestone in that process.
During his visit to Subotica, the Director of the Institute, Prof Dr Boris Stojkovski, held meetings with the leadership of “Kuzur Ištvan” Primary School and “Svetozar Marković” Grammar School. At “Kuzur Ištvan” Primary School, discussions were held with Principal Danijela Radnić, while at “Svetozar Marković” Grammar School, he met with Principal Danilo Popov.

The meetings addressed further enhancement of preparatory teaching for the final examination, as well as strengthening cooperation within national and international research initiatives. It was concluded that intensive and systematic preparation, combined with consistent work using collections of tasks and test materials, can contribute to improved student achievement in Serbian (or mother tongue), Mathematics, and the elective subject.
School leadership also presented a range of curricular and extracurricular activities, along with significant achievements at national and international competitions, seminars, and projects.
The meetings further defined steps towards more intensive cooperation between the Institute and grammar schools to enhance the overall quality of the educational process
