On Monday, August 25, 2025, Sladjana Tanasic, Director of the Republic Pedagogical Institute of Republika Srpska, visited the Institute for Education Quality and Evaluation. The importance of the visit is reflected in nurturing continuous cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republika Srpska in the field of evaluating the quality of education at the primary, secondary, and academic levels, as well as in the joint contribution to the advancement, modernisation, and reform of the teaching process..
Future points of collaboration between the two republican institutes were established in areas such as national and international research; fostering national identity and the rembembrance culture; improvement of the education system in domain of teaching and scientific process; teaching and learning; educational standards, outcomes, and cross-curricual competencies; assessment of student achievement on final exams at the end of primary education, among other areas. 
The meeting laid the groundwork for cooperation and the experience exchange in the joint organisation of seminars, training for test evaluation, and training for creating tasks at the basic, intermediate, and advanced levels, round tables and panel discussions on overcoming temporary challenges in knowledge transfer, testing, assessment, and evaluation.
In a dedicated segment of the meeting, further exchange of professional and scientific research publications (monographs, manuals, handbooks, monographic presentations of project results) in the domain of the education system was agreed upon, with a focus on improving the processes of self-evaluation and external evaluation of schools. Joint work on publishing and distributing manuals in mathematical, scientific, and reading literacy was rated as highly successful, and measures were established for the continued joint work in two primary segments of elementary student education.
The meeting was led by the Director of the Institute, Prof. Dr Boris Stojkovski, and Deputy Director Dr Milan Gromovic, research associate.
